TRANQUILITY, INTERACTION AND BEST ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICES
The farmyard is home to an eclectic mix of animals. Beloved ponies, Khoki and Kohl just love cuddles. Rescue goats Mabel and Mango are a pair but very different. Mango is gentle and shy, while Mabel nibbles at shoe laces and checks your bag for treats. Percival is the white duck who has fallen in love with Mabel. A handful of sterilised bunnies, guinea pigs, squirrels and guinea fowl complete the family.
We encourage parents to bring their children to visit, learn, and nurture a love for animals through interaction. Please get in touch with our reception to arrange your visit to the garden.

Our garden is a spacious, calm outdoor environment for your dog to relax in the luxury of green grass during their visit. Pets and owners alike can spend time outside, and enjoy the presence of the farm animals grazing peacefully in the adjacent camp.

PLASTIC – WATER – ANTIBIOTICS
In providing this tranquil, rural space, we’ve focused on the best environmental practices, reducing our water usage by installing a borehole and watering only when necessary. As far as possible, we’ve reduced our plastic use by switching to brown paper shopping bags, cardboard boxes to dispense tablets, and recyclable pill bottles for when plastic is necessary.
Our environmentally responsible attitude extends to the way we treat patients, using medication when necessary but being careful not to overprescribe. We use antibiotics only for known bacterial infections, and with a culture and sensitivity report where possible. In this way, antibiotics are prescribed safely and effectively.
